Along with photography, I have a background in the visual arts and film production. I have worked as a cinematographer on films and videos which have won awards across North America. My documentary, “Whose Rights, Anyway?” was awarded funding from the National Film Board and was chosen to go on their cross-Canada tour, “Measuring Security Measures.” I have a passion for “capturing the moment,” and particularly enjoy photographing people and events.
I also enjoy being active and challenging myself! I’ve ran two half-marathons, hiked the second highest peak in southern Africa, and obtained my scuba diving license a few years ago. I’ve checked off bungee jumping, skydiving, and paragliding off my “to-do” list, and one day I hope to win a belly-flop contest. Just joking…
